Albert Anderson Obituary
Andy is predeceased by his wife Judy; and sisters, Marcia Boyer and Barbara Mathews. He is survived by his daughter Laurie Aholt (Michael) of Plains, Wash.; his son Peter Anderson (Suzan) of Old Saybrook; three grandchildren, Jacob, Carl and Sarah Anderson; and two great-grandchildren, MacKenzie and Matthew Anderson.
A Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 6, at the Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main Street, Centerbrook. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, at the St. Paul Lutheran Church, 56 Great Hammock Road, Old Saybrook. Andy was a founder and active member of our Black
Hall "wing ding" golfing group.Lately when unable to participate, Laurie would accompany Andy to join us for lunch.His grace and humor will be missed. RIP Andy.

Andy was one of the most kind-hearted and caring people that my family has ever met, and we were so fortunate to have him as a neighbor. He would often secretly stack my mom's firewood so that she wouldn't have to worry about it when she got home from work, and he would never expect anything in return. Andy just loved to see other people happy, always such a caring man with a big heart. I moved away from Old Saybrook in 2015, but whenever I visited my mom, he would always ask how I am doing. When my mom broke her hip last year, Andy and his family were the first to offer help and I am forever grateful. Thinking of the Anderson family during this difficult time.
