I was so sorry to hear about your mother's passing. She was the most amazing person I have met in the last few years. I heard the love she had for her family in her voice and the many stories of her family especially, her children. I had the extreme pleasure of meeting her when we hosted a Red Hat Party at Bridges and I shared several fun days there listening to her and playing her favorite Sunday game "pokeno". I know you will truly miss her as will so many others. I will keep her and her family in my prayers.

I was very sad to learn of your mother's passing. I have known her my whole life and will always remember her smile and warmth, especially when I would see her at The Beach. I am a distant cousin, daughter of Clara and Ralph Bernstein. My prayers to you all as you go through this difficult time.

I was very sad to hear of your Mom's death. I absolutely adored her & I have wonderful memories of the times we spent @ Guthrie Beach. I am Clara & Ralph Bernstein's daughter. Kathy, you sent me to Camp Hochelago in Vermont. And Alice taught me to drive.

We were very sad to hear of Alice's passing. She was a very fine woman, always classy. She was well respected in the community. The DiMarco family knew Alice and Ted for many years and always enjoyed their company at my sister Josephine Esposito's house. Alice will be missed by all.

I heard about your mom's passing today. I didn't get to know her until very late in her life and then spent many pleasant times in her company. She remained an exceptionally intelligent and gracious lady. I am so sorry she is gone and hope her passing was an easy one. Sincerely, Berri

Our connections, Alice's and mine, were many and varied. As Connecticut College alumnae, we traded news not in the bulletin with each other. As relatives-in-law, we listened to stories of the family. As wives of local lawyers, we laughed and joked together about many happenings. Alice was such a bright and interesting woman. This is a loss not only for her family, but for friends, acquaintances, and the community.

I am sad to hear of Mrs. Washton's passing. I trust she did not suffer and I am sure she will be missed by all at Bridges, including by my mother in law, Mary Cummings, and Ms. Levinson. Your Mother's( and Father's) personality and , of course, their infectious smiles are etched in my memory. I am sorry for your loss.
