Amanda Smalls Obituary

Beaufort County, S.C. - Amanda Viola Smalls, 86, of 424 Vauxhall St., New London entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 14, 2009, at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital.

Born in Beaufort, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Fred Sr. and Annie Maine (Frazier) Oree. She worked as a cook for the Dupont Family. She was a faithful member of the Bethel United Methodist Church for over 70 years, she served as Mother of the church and a member of the choir. She was the wife of the late Ezekial Smalls.

She leaves to chersih her memory a daughter-granddaughter, Marvie Cagle her husband, Ronald of New London, a daughter, Annie Moses of Paterson, N.J.; a son, Gabriel Frazier of Beaufort, S.C.; a beloved grandson, Charles Campbell of New London, and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Husptah Baptist Church in Beaufort County, S.C. Interment will be in Bethel Methodist Church Cemetery in Yemassee, S.C. Arrangements are entrusted to the Marshel's Wright-Donaldson Home for Funeral, 1814 Greene St., Beaufort, SC 29902. Local arrangements are entrusted to the Lester Gee Funeral Home, 108 Blinman St., New London.
