Amy Manwaring Obituary
She was born on June 22, 1963 in New London. She graduated East Lyme High School in 1981. After high school, she immediately began working at her father, John "Jack" Cutillo's family business, Niantic Plumbing. She was a valuable asset to the company, becoming vice president in 2015. She was also secretary of Niantic Lawn & Caretaker Service since 1991.
She married the love of her life, Melville A. Manwaring Jr., on Feb. 27, 1982. For 37 years, they stood side by side up until her last breath. This bond shall never be broken. Together, they have two sons, Christopher and John Hull Manwaring who will miss her deeply.
Her greatest passion was spending time with her grandchildren, from the moment they were each born, to the night she passed.
She is predeceased by her sister, Kerry (Cutillo) Sullivan; and her granddaughter, Arabella Grace Manwaring.
Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of the ones she loved: her parents, Jack and Mary Cutillo; her husband, Melville Manwaring; her children, Chris and Ashley Manwaring and Hull and Heather Manwaring; her stepson, Bill and his wife, Sarah Manwaring and their children; her grandchildren, Christopher, Ella, Eva, Cassidy and Oliver Manwaring; and her nephew, Roan Patrick Sullivan. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, 2018, at St. Agnes Church, 22 Haigh Ave., Niantic. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Niantic. The family will receive relatives and friends from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2018, at the Thomas L. Neilan & Sons East Lyme Funeral Home, 48 Grand St., Niantic.
