Barbara was a longtime associate of mine and was an integral part of my business development team at the marketing services agency we both worked for. From the business perspective, Barbara was the consummate professional and collaborative team member - someone you truly loved working with. Barbara´s role was to initiate contact, and to build meaningful relationships with potential new clients. To say that she was effective and good at what she did, would be a gross under-statement. To her fellow team members, she´d earned the well-deserved nickname of "Bulldog," because when Barbara was committed to something, as the saying goes, she was like "a dog on a bone."
From the personal perspective, Barbara was one of the kindest, most caring people I´ve ever known. So much more than just a business associate, Barbara had become a dear friend and trusted confidant. I remember well, how we´d frequently talk on Monday mornings to discuss our objectives for the week ahead. Most of the time, our conversations would start by us sharing the various things we did over the previous weekend, and almost without fail, Barbara´s favorite topics always revolved around her son Alex, daughter Joanna or husband Dik. The love and pride she felt for her family was always evident.
It was truly an honor and a privilege for me to have known Barbara Glass. No doubt she will be missed by many. - Kim E. Cooper

Dear Dik, Jo, Alex, Drake Brothers, and grandkids,
Much love and sympathy to you all. Barbara was a gem -- one of my very first friends way back at NMS and through Dundee, EJS and GHS. I was lucky to know her, and I am profoundly saddened to learn of her passing. It's a rare obituary that so captures a person's essence, but my frequent reflexive nods of recognition while reading Barbara's is testament to your having done her justice as much as words can. May your love for her and each other be a source of strength now and always.
