Bruce Jansen Obituary
Born on Dec. 30, 1949, in Roseburg, Ore., to Marvin and Alice Jansen of Amery, Wis. After six years in the Navy as a submariner, Bruce headed the family farm in Wisconsin before moving to raise his family in Lebanon. Recently retired from DST Systems, Inc., Bruce enjoyed golfing, country western dancing, and took great enjoyment roaming the country on his motorcycle as an avid member of the Iron Butt Rally Motorcycle Association and others.
Bruce leaves behind his beloved soulmate, Necia Stevens of Waterford; his mother, Alice of Amery, Wis.; his son, Chris of San Francisco, Calif.; his daughter, Abigail of Orlando, Fla.; his siblings, Brian of Woodland, Wash., Greg of Loveland, Colo., Karen Benson of Amery, Wis. and Stacey Wucherpfennig of Menomonie, Wis.; his grandson, Gavin of Idaho Falls, Idaho; his children's mother, Joan of Colchester; and many more loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Bruce was predeceased by his father, Marvin of Turtle Lake, Wis.; and his daughter, Gina of Idaho Falls, Idaho.
Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, at the Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main St., Centerbrook. Funeral services will follow at 11:30 a.m. at the Ivoryton Congregational Church, 57 Main St., Ivoryton. Interment will follow in the Fountain Hill Cemetery in Deep River. A reception will be held at The United Scandinavian Society in Deep River following the interment services.

So sorry to hear this sad news. I walk my dogs by Buce's bike garage and when he was there always had we usually swapped great motorcycle stories. A good man.
