Burt Hall Obituary
Burt grew up in Waterford, and graduated from New London High School. He was a gentle soul who cherished his family and friends. He found great joy in kayaking on Gorton Pond and the Niantic River. Known for his loyalty and willingness to lend a helping hand, Burt was a steadfast friend to all who knew him.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Karen Meloney Hall; his stepdaughter, Jennifer Beck; grandchildren, Daniel Minnie, Stirling Beck, his wife Tiffany, and their son Stirling Beck II; his brother Wayne Hall, his wife Rebecca; and his sisters, Deb Hall Morosini and Saun Hall Murallo. He is also remembered fondly by many nieces and nephews.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the sixth-floor care team at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital for their dedicated care and compassion during Burt's final days.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Feb. 8, at Saint Paul's Church, Rope Ferry Road, Waterford. A Celebration of his Life will follow immediately downstairs in the parish hall. A private burial will take place in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Burt's memory to the American Cancer Society. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.

Burt and I made friends in 91. He introduced himself and bought me a beer and immediately a friendship was born one that would last forever. Bert was extremely rare and joyful and kind and absolutely hilarious and he had a great love for music and for his friends! He always had a smile for all he knew no matter what the situation! I miss him very much. May he never be forgotten!

Working for years with Burt at Mohegan Sun was a great experience. He was a High Duster with no fear of any heights, often soaring to the very tops. His dry quiet humor would often take me by surprise. Condolences to his family. RIP Burt.

Hi I´m a co worker of his, name is Erica. I always liked working with him when needing a helping hand. He liked picking up conversations with me during the day time to time. Always had said good morning! I would say good morning and he say good afternoon- played pool a couple times -
