Carmela Capozza Obituary
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, at Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, 181 Ocean Avenue, New London, followed by a memorial service beginning at 8 p.m. at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 6, at St. Mary Cemetery, New London. Memorial donations in her memory may be made at www.stjude.org. A complete obituary will be in Sunday's edition of The Day.

I remember Carmela and Rocky from Pfizer Groton. Both of them were dear friends and Rocky the life of the party! They are finally together again! RIP!

I was one of her neighbors and whenever I came into there house I was treated like family. The last time I saw her was the week I came home from Michigan to help my Brothers clean out my Mom and Dads house. Her and Joey made sauce and Pizza Dough and we had a Family outdoor Pizza Party for both there Family and my Brothers. It was the best Pizza I have ever had and I will remember for the rest of my life.
