Carolyn Ann Fisher

Waterford - Carolyn Ann Fisher, age 83, of Waterford, passed away peacefully Sept. 17, 2025, with her family at her side. She was married to her lifelong sweetheart, Peter, for 65 years.

Carolyn's distinguished career in banking began as a branch teller, where her excellence quickly became apparent. Ascending through the ranks, she became a respected loan officer and ultimately senior vice president. She generously shared her expertise, serving as a trusted advisor on numerous boards and committees.

Carolyn will be remembered for her kindness, sharp intellect, quick wit and unwavering sense of humor.

Predeceased by her sister Linda Jane Lewis; and brother-in-law Craig Fisher, Carolyn leaves behind her beloved sons; sister-in-law, aunts, nieces, nephews and their families, daughters-in-law, and grandchildren. Her many friends meant the world to her. She loved unconditionally and considered her family to be her greatest legacy - and to her family, she was truly everything.

Calling hours will be observed from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 29, at Thomas L. Neilan & Sons Funeral Home, 48 Grand Street, Niantic. A memorial service will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30, at Neilan & Sons Funeral Home, followed by Interment at Cedar Grove Cemetery, 638 Broad Street, New London.
