Hi Pam and family of Carrie. I am a highschool friend and was very sorry to hear the news of Carrie's passing. I always enjoyed her and sister Pam..I remember the days when they worked at Burger King here in NL. Carrie always wore the newest fashions to school and I loved hearing about the scuba diving exhibitions they went on. I regret we did not keep in touch. She will be remembered by her our youthful memories and her autograph in "my highschool yearbook. "May Her Memory Be Eternal"

I told Jim that Carrie was the kind of friend that I hadn't made since I was a child. I met her when I was in my late 30s and our children attended the same school. Together, we traveled to Santa Fe a bunch of times, Sedona, Nantucket, and our first adventure to Kripalu for a writing workshop. We weren't done. We were supposed to go to Swedish Lapland next. God had other plans for my friend. I will remember her kindness, her cooking (borscht!), her desire to keep her friends close, and her ambition to speak French like a local (again! She spent a year in Bordeaux in college!). She is a treasure in my life, still. God bless her beautiful family who she took such good care of!
