Catherine Hapis Obituary
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4, in St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church, 200 Hempstead St., New London. Her family will receive relatives and friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Interment to follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
The Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home, 84 Montauk Ave., New London, has been entrusted with her care. A complete obituary will appear in Tuesday's edition of The Day.

My cousin Cathy was a beautiful lady, inside and out. She loved her family. Her kindness, smile and laughter will be missed. Our condolences to Irwin, Stephanie & Will, Jim & Joan, Dora & Jim, and to the entire extended family. May the Lord rest her beautiful soul in peace.

Our deepest sympathies to Irwin and the Hapis family. I had the privilege of meeting Catherine several times. Catherine was an elegant lady with lots of class. She always made me feel at home and welcome.
Catherine will be greatly missed by all.
