Charles Taylor Obituary

North Windham - Charles "Chuck" Glenn Taylor, age 69, originally of Colchester, passed away May 24, 2024. He was born Feb. 14, 1955, in New London.

Chuck, known for his witty humor and being the king of dad jokes. He had a successful career spanning over 30 years at Winnelson, before retiring from Stop & Shop. In his free time, Chuck enjoyed foraging for mushrooms, golfing, hiking, and spending time outdoors with his family. He also enjoyed the time he spent volunteering for the Colchester Lions Club.

He is survived by his daughter Kim (Justin) Hunt; son Mike (Christina) Taylor; sister Beth Moran; brothers, William (Pauline) Taylor and Chris (Amanda) Taylor; long-time companion Linda Taylor; as well as many other family members and friends. Chuck was preceded in death by his mother Jane (Everitt) Taylor; father Charles J. Taylor; and his brother Robert Taylor.

A Celebration of Life will follow for Chuck Taylor.

Chuck always had a smile and a kind word for everyone he met. I was proud to Serve with him in the Colchester Lions Club, where he was a LEO Club advisor for many years.
