Dear Alayne and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Dale's passing. I remember Dale as a very kind man that I got to meet through our shared interest in restoring the Avery Point Lighthouse. I remember meeting him at a local restaurant in 1999 with Jim Streeter, working together through various events, dutifully printing certificates and buttons and manning the information table at OpSail and other events. He made an impact in this life in many ways even beyond the Avery Point Lighthouse which stands tall and lighted today thanks to his efforts. May he Rest In Peace.

Memories come to mind all the wonderful years we spent together as childhood friends and as adults. We were both proud to be members of the Long Cove Buccaneers. We did many things together and are thankful for our times together. We will miss him.

We are so sorry to hear of Mr. Treadway passing. We will all remember him as a dear friend and neighbor. His love for history was passed to all of us will never forget the smell of his pipe. His knowledge of wordly advice was appeciated by all the youth who knew him.
