Danielle Jarry Obituary

Pawcatuck - It is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of Danielle Aimee Jarry, by natural causes, just after her 48th birthday. Danielle was born to James and Michelle Jarry Jan. 1, 1976. She is survived by her parents, James and Michelle Jarry; her sister Francoise Jarry; and two beautiful children, Addysen and Ainsley Helbig.

Born and raised in Cumberland, R.I., she attended Cumberland High School where she participated in field hockey and track and field. She also took ballet well into high school and played the flute, a fact many may not know! She went on to graduate from University of Rhode Island with a double major in marine affairs and political science. Upon graduation, Danielle worked at Noank Village Boatyard for many years before devoting herself to raising her children full-time. She loved her two daughters immensely.

Danielle will be remembered by all who knew and loved her to be an incredibly intelligent, passionate person. She had a love for yoga, traveling and adventure, of marine life and the ocean. As a child she spent her summers at the family beach house in Charlestown, R.I., running through the sand, playing in the waves and making wonderful memories of the ocean. She grew up to continue spending much of her free time either on or in the ocean, as her many passions included surfing, paddle-boarding, scuba diving and boating. As an adult, she found a deep sense of joy, comfort, spirituality and a strong sense of connection to others through her yoga community and teachings. She also loved live music, where she could dance and let her spirit be free. While her time here was sadly cut short, we believe she is serving a higher purpose as her beautiful spirit and energy move on to their next calling. Please hold a loving space for her in your hearts.

Details regarding memorial services for Danielle will be shared with family and friends at a later time. In lieu of flowers, we would like to encourage the option to plant a tree in her honor.
