Steven Anton Jarry, 62, of Suwanee, GA passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 4th, 2025 after a long battle with heart failure. Steve was born in Leominster, Massachusetts on January 10, 1963 to the late John D Jarry and Margaret Plume Jarry. As the son of a Green Beret, Steve lived in multiple states before settling in Clarksville, Tennessee where he spent his formative years playing football, hunting, fishing and working on a tobacco farm. Steve graduated from Northwest High School in Clarksville, TN where he met the love of his life, Kimberly L Nitch. Steve and Kim moved to Louisville, KY where Steve graduated from RETS Institute of Technology with a degree in telecommunications. After school, Steve and Kim settled in Nashville, TN where they had three boys, Ryan, Tyler, and Chad and where Steve began his career as a sales engineer at Southeastern Telecom. Being a good father, living a Christ-centered life, being involved in the community, and working hard were important to Steve. As such, Steve actively coached all three boys in baseball, football and basketball. When Steve and Kim relocated to Suwanee, GA in 1997, this community involvement continued with many hours spent at Lake Lanier with the boys and their friends, Saturdays at George Pierce Park, Sundays at Shadowbrook Church and Suwanee First United Methodist Church, and Friday nights at North Gwinnett High School as the touchdown club president. Steve had a successful sales career as a national account manager at NEC and Optivor where he officially retired in 2022. Even with this active life, Steve still found time to play golf, hunt, fish and do woodworking. Through these experiences, Steve met so many life-long friends that he cherished and loved until the day he passed. Steve is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Kim (Nitch) Jarry; His children Ryan and his wife, Marcy, Tyler, and Chad and his wife, Lauren, and his grandchildren Luke and Hudson. A period of visitation will be held on Saturday, Oct. 4th, from 2-4 p.m. at Flanigan Funeral Home in Buford, GA.
