Billy R. Blankenship, age 73, of Sugar Hill, GA. passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2026. He was preceded in death by his parents, A. J. and Ruby Dean Stewart Blankenship; brothers, Harold, Harry, and Danny Blankenship. Mr. Blankenship is survived by his wife of 51 years, Ann Earl Blankenship of Sugar Hill, GA; daughters, Cheri (Jim) Satterfield of Monroe, GA, Lucretia (Alex) Ross of Buford, GA; sons, Dennis (Dana) Blankenship of Buford, GA, Robbie (Carrie) Blankenship of Buford, GA; grandchildren, Kylie (Colt) Key, Tyler Satterfield, Hannah Tinsley, Isabella (Jordan) Mitchell, Ruby (J.P.) Patterson, Bryson Tinsley, Paisley Tinsley, Stewart Blankenship, Keiffer Blankenship, McKenzie Savage, Matthew Savage; great-grandchildren, Aspen, Kora, Ida, Annie, and great-grandson to-be, Case; sisters, Betty Jo Price, Patricia Ann (Phil) Plunkett; sisters-in-law, Gail Buice Blankenship, Joy (Jack) Smith, Sue (Raymond) Dixon, Jan (Joey) Boatright, Janice Earl; brother-in-law, Gary Parker; aunts, Lois Stewart, Barbara Ramey; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.

Mr. Blankenship was born December 8, 1952 in Buford, GA. He received his education from the Buford High School system. Mr. Blankenship was a retired cabinet maker from Blankenship Cabinet Company, Buford, GA, with 30-plus years of service. He was a member of Old Suwanee Baptist Church. He loved gardening and was an avid NASCAR fan.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA, with Pastor Tim Campbell officiating. Interment will follow at Old Suwanee Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 13, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
