Kathy, Emily and Danny, My deepest sympathy for the loss of a great guy. Dave hired me in the mid 80's @ B-T Tile. We did not know at the time he would set me on a lifetime career path. His ethics, attention to detail and quest for knowledge have guided me to this day. He has greatly influenced my life and many others. I always enjoyed stopping in to visit with him at Cluff's and laugh about the old days. Dave shall always remain in my thoughts.

Dear Kathy, Emily and Danny,
We are so heartbroken for your loss. David was a shining example of a husband, a father and a friend. We cherish the many years of friendship that brought our families together through kindergarten at Jennings School. Sending all our love.

I remember that day at Ocean Beach when Kathy met her Prince Charming. We were just young teenagers enjoying an afternoon at the beach. Who would have guessed that that moment would change Kathy’s life forever. She and David were truly soul mates. David became a part of my New London family and I loved him dearly. He was one of the nicest and bravest people I have ever known. I am blessed to have know him all these years. Kathy and David, Fran and Steve and my late husband and I were and will be “Forever Friends”

David, Kathy and children were next door neighbors to my parents...and wonderful neighbors they were indeed!
Although I did not know David well, I knew how well he treated my parents!
May Kathy, Daniel and Emily find comfort and peace in our Lord during this time!

Dave and I crossed paths for many years during his time in the flooring industry. Great guy. I never realized what an interesting life he lived. Speaking out about Nuclear weapons? Marched for world peace? Heck I didn't even know he spoke French and Russian. I just knew he was a very smart man ,A nice guy .and sold me flooring. His Family and friends were very lucky to have him in their lives.

Nice remembrance of Dave. There's so much more. His leadership in People's Action for Clean Energy to protect us from nuclear power and advocate for clean energy alternative; his deep concern about and efforts to combat the racism that exists in our society; his good humor, concern and support during my bought with cancer; his work ethic and efforts to provide quality products; his love of his family and friends and his interest in their family and friends; his analytical and conversational ability on most topics and his ripping good letters to the editor on a regular schedule. Thank you Kathy, Emily, Dan and Stormy for sharing him.
