I remember Mr Wordell from Clark Lane Jr High prior to 1985 and in more recent years. I took my father-in-law to see the carriage museum and we enjoyed very much seeing the beautiful collection. I am honored to have met David and enjoyed his stories, love for animals and the carriages too.

He used to tell us ghost stories about his old Salem house in math class.
I wonder if he will find out more about that poltergeist who threw stuff around now that he is on The Other Side? His stories were more interesting than going over the same pre-algebra concept week after week, which also seemed like an eternity.

He was the most patient math teacher I ever had, and believe me I needed patience. Always enjoyed stories of his train collections and property in Salem. My condolences to his family and friends.
