I would not have graduated NEBH without her perceptive and persistent interest in helping me overcome a very difficult situation. I owe my wonderful career and so many life experiences to Delight. Thank you and my sincerest condolences to her family.

Dr. Wolfe was my A + P instructor when I was in the class of `75. Reading her obituary brought back memories of her exact persona and personality. What a wonderful human being she was. I wish I had sought to find her whereabouts in recent years. I would have certainly reached out to her to thank her for her unyielding wisdom and understanding. She made learning less of a chore and more of an adventure. May she rest in eternal peace.

I was one of many fortunate enough to be a student of Delight Wolf´s when she taught Anatomy and Physiology at NEBH School of Nursing. Her enthusiasm was infectious, and she shared her knowledge in a way that made it easy to learn. When Delight became the director of the school, the students were thrilled. I am glad she lived such a blessed life, and i feel blessed to have been lucky enough to have been touched by it.

May she rest in the loving arms of the angels. She made learning a pleasure as she adored her work. I did not know that she became the Director of the school as I had graduated in 74. The school was certainly blessed with her intellect and passion for her profession. It was the best education of my life at NEBH and she contributed in large part. Forever appreciative of her guidance. She was the best!

Dr Wolfe was a phenomenal mentor to all of us that were fortunate enough to attend New England Baptist Hospital School of Nursing. (I acquired my diploma in nursing from there in 1974). In my >65 years of education she was one of two educators that I have to thank for me becoming the person I am today.
I am so sorry for your loss but want to say thank you to her family for sharing this wonderful lady with all of us.

My husband and I met Delight when she would make her annual visit to Dr. Elaine Hubbard ,a cherished friend of hers who had become our friend also.
Their deep friendship ,undergirded by their love for Christ was apparent to all.
They were proud of being nurses and were zealous of practicing it well. Their contribution to the Nursing Career will have a great impact for a long time.
We are grateful for her kindness and friendship.

As others will undoubtedly note, Delight truly lived up to her namesake. She was, without question, one of the nicest people I have ever met. Smart, inquisitive, cheerful and always smiling, I will miss her immensely. She clearly embodied the essence of Christianity and goodness. I know that she now rejoices in heaven with the Lord she loves so much. May God bless her family at this time.

Delight was a delight! My husband and I had the good fortune to have Delight as our Neigbhor. She was sharp as a tack and as friendly as could be. She will be remembered fondly by all who knew here. RIP dear Delight.

I met Delight when I was doing research on her great-grandfather, Thomas Wolfe, a Civil War hero and one of my favorite local people of the past. Delight gave me helpful info, hosted my husband and me at an elegant tea, and in the process we became friends. I loved her cheerfulness, her humor, and her courage living alone. I have
lost a valued friend and the world has lost an accomplished woman and a bright spirit.
