Edna Burt Obituary
Born in Austin, Tex., July 23, 1917, a daughter of the late Charles Morse Larned and Ethel (Gough) Larned, she had been a North Haven resident for 50 years until moving to Wallingford eight years ago. Edna had been employed in the guidance department of North Haven High School for many years until her retirement. She was a member of the North Haven Congregational Church and a member of the church choir.
She is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Martha B. and Roger Hassard of Waterford and Nancy B. and Stephen Desrosiers of Lowell, Mass.; and her four grandsons, Daniel Hassard and James Hassard and his wife, Tania, and Timothy and Jeremy Drelick.
Her family will receive relatives and friends from 1:30 to 2:45 p.m. Friday in The Yalesville Funeral Home, 386 Main St., Yalesville Section of Wallingford. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Interment will be private.
