Edward Greenwold Obituary
Edward received a Bachelor of Science in business from University of Connecticut and a Master of Business Administration degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
He was a professional for many years in the insurance industry working as a financial officer and accountant, he spent four years as a submariner in the Navy and he was a member of the Catholic Church.
Edward traveled the world with his family as well as through his work and the Navy. He loved visiting the beach in South Carolina where he grew up and he also loved going to concerts and baseball games.
Edward is survived by his beloved wife Dorothy R. Greenwold, they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Oct. 2, 2021. He also leaves his son Christopher M. Greenwold; siblings, Mark Greenwold, Terry Greenaway (Jeff), Donna Greenwold and Michael Greenwold all of South Carolina; sister-in-law Carol Greenwold of Tennessee, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sons, Adam D. Greenwold, Brian J. Greenwold; and his brother Craig Greenwold.
Funeral services will be private.

Dear Dorothy, family and friends of Edward´s,
On behalf of the United States Submarine Veterans, we offer our sincere condolences at Edward´s passing. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. We are always saddened whenever a fellow "Bubblehead" leaves on Eternal Patrol. He served with honor on the USS Dogfish SS-350 and USS Pollack SSN-603.
To our "Brother-of-the-Phin" we say, "Sailor, rest your oar. We have the watch. Fair Winds and Following Seas." Thank you for your service to our country.
