Helen,

I am so sorry for the loss to your family of Mr. Harrison. He was inspirational to both my daughters and also a great comrade in our profession. Many laughs were shared talking about "the profession" while talking at the Portuguese Club. I know he has been ill for quite a while, but it is still shocking when someone you have known your entire life passes. Treasure your fond memories and he will always be with you.

First off I want to pay my respects and condolences for your loss. I truly enjoyed reading what everybody had written. What a great man! My name is Jennifer Harrison. My Grandfather (William Palmer Harrison, Aka Bill) was Ed's cousin. I would love to get In Touch somehow. Ed looks so much like my Grandpa Bill. I wish we could have gotten to know Ed more.

To all of Ed's Loved Ones,
We are so very sorry for your loss. Our condolences to you all. Ed was a great man, and one of my (Kathi's) favorite teachers ever! 6th grade - Dean's Mill! My mom and I always fondly remember when I had to write s story about something I did over the summer, to which I relayed a crazy story involving my grandparents. "Mr. Harrison" called my mother to ask her if what I had written had truly occurred ... she replied yes it had ... and he was amazed and hysterically laughing with my mom. He didn't forget that either! Whenever I ran into Ed, he would still talk about that!
Fondly,

I have many great memories of "Mr Harrison". Besides being neighbors for many years, we had a nickname for each other...I was Perry Big and he was Harrison Little. I will never forget the day he walked into my first grade class at the Boro School and picked me up off the chair and stood me on the desk. He started laughing and as he walked back out of the classroom, he said Perry Big!..and I was left still standing on the desk. He got me! What a great laugh!! Love and hugs to Helen, David and Brian.

Ed was a great man and neighbor. I grew up two doors down and would play with him in his back yard and with his train set in the shed out back. It was funny to transition from "Eddie" to "Mr. Harrison" when he became one of my teachers. He always had a cheerful greeting and wave whenever we saw each other. My deepest sympathies to Helen, David and Brian and the entire family.

Love,

Barbara "BJ" Perry, Stonington

David, Brian, Mrs. Harrison and family,
So sorry to hear of Mr. Harrison passing. I have many fond memories of him from childhood, the biggest being the feeling of happiness that permeates all those memories. His smile and his laugh were infectious, and you couldn't help but be happy around him. I'm sure he's got Saint Peter in stitches already. May he rest in peace, and may you all find comfort in your love for each other.

Harrison family,
So sorry for your loss may he rest in peace.
I had the honor of knowing Ed since High School days he at SHS and I at WHS, we both enjoyed sports. His son David and my son Lance both played YMCA basketball together and both played against one another in High School. Both of our grandson now play sports together at Chariho High School. We were one family as our great grandfathers Benjamin Ross Ed line and Styles Ross my line were brothers and both grew up in the Stonington Borough.
Ed will live on in the hearts of his family members. Where we are now Ed was. Where Ed is now we shall be. He is now in the spirit world with our elders.
