Eric Avery Obituary
Eric worked for the Mashantucket Pequot Public Works Department for the last 28 years.
He will be profoundly missed by his partner Christine Dunn, her three sons, Patrick, Kyle and Elijah Reeds; His brothers, Timmy Avery, Larry Avery, and Larry's wife Sandra and their daughter Lana (his favorite niece); and numerous friends and family.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
Donations can be made in Eric's memory to The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

My sisters and I grew up with Eric and his brothers. We all went to Groton Heights together. Broad Street, Cottage Street, and Thames Street were the places to be in the 70's. R.I.P. Eric. Prayers to his family.

Timmy and Larry very sad to hear about Eric. I can still remember playing around Cottage and Broad Streets, the church, the beach, war, chase, and on and on. Sad to see another "Groton Kid" pass away. My thoughts with all of you!

My heart dropped this morning when I saw Eric's obituary, may he rest in peace. Eric was the first of the brothers to befriend me when I started at EB, friendships that I still value. Although it's been many years I think of Eric and his brothers Larry and Tim often, we had a lot of good times.
