I was sad to hear off Jerry leaving this world. Some of my best memories growing up in Weston was hanging with the O'malleys. There was always so much joy, laughter, shenanigans, and love. My heart aches for all of the O'mallys. Jerry as the big brother always stepped in to mediate when the gang got too rambunctious; he did this with a smile and affirmation. His light will always shine bright. Warm Regards, Warda

I just found out that that Jerry passed. I am so so sad! Jerry was an absolutely wonderful friend to me when I needed it most. He and I worked Together for the chief state's attorney's office and guided me through the beginning of my career. He was always such a lovely man, a true gentlemen, funny as all get out and just awesome to be around. Though we haven't kept in contact much over the last few years, I will always remember him fondly in my heart. I just love him. Blessings to all of you and i'm so sad for your loss. With all my heart, Maryann Ehmann

Jerry offered me my first job as a lawyer without which I would never have met my future wife, who also worked at the firm. He always had a mischievous twinkle in his eye, and a smile that would brighten the room. He was a compassionate, funny, smart human being who will be sorely missed by those fortunate enough to have known him. Godspeed Jerry.

There are some who bring a light so great into the world that even after they are gone, the light remains!!
I meet Jerry as a young Dad with two adorable precocious young children in tow. As Director of Early Childhood Education at the Mystic Community Center it was a privilege and honor to serve under his stewardship and never wavering support of our community as Board President. Condolences to all at this difficult time.

Bruce and I are heartbroken for you. It's so hard to lose a parent, especially one like yours. May you always remember the good times with dad and think of him every day.

Dear Caitlin, Shane, Gwynne and all of the O´Malley Family,
My thoughts are with you. So many heartfelt memories, from being neighbors on Coveside Lane in the early 80s, to sporting events and fun festivals for the Mystic Community Center. Planning, preparing and having so much fun. You are dearly missed Jerry. My deepest sympathies.

Caitlin, Shane, Gwynne and the O'Malley Family,
I'm sorry to hear of Jerry's passing. I had the pleasure of working with Jerry at TCORS. Jerry was one of my favorite bosses! I remember when he would dictate work to me, all I could hear was the music he was playing in the background. We would have conversations about the music he was listening to at the time; and on several occasions, I even had him share his playlist with me. The music ranged from Lauren Hill to the Golden Oldies!!!
I will definitely miss Jerry!!!
I pray that Jerry is at peace now; and especially pray for healing for the family!

He will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Truly "a nice guy", great person and wonderful boss. Condolences to his kids, his extended family and to Gwynne.
