Frederick Wright Obituary

Fort Myers, Fla. - Frederick Siebert Wright, born Feb. 12, 1922, passed away at Calusa Harbor Skilled Nursing Facility in Fort Myers, Fla., on the morning of Jan. 27, 2013.

He was 90 years old, predeceased by his wife of 34 years, Sophia (Karamargin) Wright, and leaves his companion, Frances Kavulish, who also resides in Fort Myers.

Locally he is survived by a brother, Kenneth Wright; a sister, Edna (Wright) Crandall; as well as three children, Jean Carroll Wright, Tage Nielsen Wright, and Charles Frederick Wright; and multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A longtime member of the Lodge of Elks, both locally and in Florida, Mr. Wright had been residing in Fort Myers for the past 30 years. However, his strongest family ties remained in the Mystic, North Stonington area where he grew up and raised his immediate family, most of whom still reside locally.

Memorial plans are presently indeterminate, but will be announced by the family as soon as they are completed.
