I'm just hearing about Gary's passing. We worked together for a few years at Protein Science corp . Gary's and I actually lived together in Meriden while working there. His daughter would visit many times she loved my cat. Gary not so much lol. Meagan not sure if you ever go back and read these messages of course this is 2025 but your dad raised you to be a strong woman. I'm so heartbroken he's gone. RIP BUDDY WILL SEE EACH OTHER SOMEDAY

I sure find comfort in reading all of these messages of how much you were loved by others dad. The more I reread what others say, the more I find that I've grown into exactly who you were. We share so many of the same characteristics..I wish you were here to see and share my accomplishments with. 6 feet has never felt so far.. These past 2 years already feels like an eternity. I love you and miss you more than I could ever find the words for. I keep my chin up, and my head high because that's where you taught me it should stay. I hope I'm making you proud dad.. Can't wait to see you again. I love you to the moon and back Bubba..

Like so many scattered across the industry, I will forever be grateful to Gary for giving me my first opportunity in the biotech world. He was an incredible mentor, and friend. We beat up many golf courses together, from 2001 -2007. Always celebrating our poor rounds with a few beverages, and MANY laughs. I had the privilege of seeing him get a hole in one (TWICE), at Bethel Inn and Newton Commonwealth! He made a significant impact to our lives, bringing us joy and the opportunity to succeed in our careers and life! I'm sure he has a standing tee time at Heavenly Oaks!

I considered Gary a great friend. We spent so much time together during our Allston years. He was very competitive and truly dedicated to his profession, his friends and co-workers. He loved his family and especially his daughter who he always talked about whenever we were together. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. I will truly miss my good friend. He impacted my life in so many ways. May you rest in peace. Practice those foul shots, as Steve says, we will meet on the other side.

Gary was one of the most authentic/genuine human beings on the face of the earth. He always told it how it was (both good and bad), and he was a wealth of knowledge both on the floor at work and offsite in real life. Gary hired me at Genzyme back in 2006 and I learned more from him in my career than anyone. For that, I am eternally grateful.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the Foley family, Gary´s friends and the Genzyme team, whom I know he loved and loved him back even more.
Rest In Peace gf

Gary was an icon and lighthouse at the Allston Landing Facility. He loved to teach, share knowledge and history, and encourage the growth of his mentees. He influenced a generation of respected technicians and managers, and this impact will continue to ripple through the Allston site, its people, and the wider industry. My deep condolences to his family.

Dad,
You are my hero, my legend, my best friend, my teacher, my everything. I couldn't have asked for a better father to guide me through life. I learned so much from you.. including how to be a better person. I can't explain the pain I feel.. I would give anything to hold your hand again, for one last coffee ride, one more breakfast, one more basketball "lesson", one more blackjack game, one more fishing trip, ride, event, conversation... one last hug. I could never put into words how much I miss you.. my heart is broken.. everyday I hear your voice.."Chin up Meggie, it's a brutal world, but I got ya'... you're my pride & joy and I'll never let you fail".. family always you'd tell me.. Don't worry dad, I'll run the ship now. I learned from the best, so I can't fail... I love you dad.. Save a good seat for me..
