Gary Sheppard Obituary
He is survived by his mother, Jean Edwards, siblings, David and Carl Sheppard, Charles Edwards, Debra Lynch, Suzanne Martin, Cara Edwards, Lisa Newsome; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, Russell Sheppard, Sr.; and stepfather, Charles Edwards. Gary was a long time resident of the New London area where he had many friends. He will be sadly, missed by all that knew him.
His family is planning a celebration of life in the near future at a date and time to be determined.

To the Sheppard/Edwards Family-
The are no words to describe this loss. Gary was the most kind, selfless, loving and caring person to everyone he loved. From when we were just kids, he was always around. It was like he grew up in our house as well. Beach days will never be the same - he loved Ocean Beach. He loved traveling those Peru talks I will never forget. WOW - the longest best man speech ever! Tennis adventures with Joe and Pasteur. Bike riding the trails - I will always remember our talks. Gary cherished his friends and he kept them close. He missed Sarge, Pasteur and Paul so much, and kept their memories alive. I'm sure their reunion made Heaven history. I lost another little piece of my heart - but I know he will always watch over me. Until we meet again- xo
