Howard was such a sweet, kind, caring person; always eager to help his friends, & had such a great sense of humor. He loved Nascar & gardening, and was often seen sitting in his yard, on Black Pt. Rd. waving to all his friends as they drove by. He was well known as a very hard worker for the Town of East Lyme for his entire adult life. I know he was very loved by the community, and will be missed by all who knew and loved him; especially Kat and Rachel who did so much for Howard for many years.

So sorry, Rick, to learn of Howard's passing. My memories of him were of a good, gentle , hard-working, really nice guy who would do anything for a friend. I ask the Lord's blessing that "Howdy" may rest in peace. I know everyone will miss him.
