Thinking of Hugh today. I can see him standing and delivering a beautiful Burns' poem in front of 100s of captivated audience members at the Robt Burns Dinners in CT. It is my hope that my father, George, who adored Hugh, is standing next to him today reciting Burns' work!

Mary Carole and family,
So sorry to learn of Hugh's passing. He was always the gentleman. It was a pleasure working with him when I was in Sterling and later at DED. He was always a great guy to be around.

He was always nice and pleasant to me, even though I was a Democrat. Chaplin will miss him. Rusty.

To the family: your dad/husband was a great man and will be terribly missed. He certainly was larger than life, and will go on to greatness in the heavens.

I got to know Hugh sometime ago while he was at Westview Health Care Center. His smile was infectious to all. Always happy and smiling and so glad to see you. He also has such a loving family. Getting to know them was pure joy for me. He will be greatly missed by all. I will miss you Hugh. Love Annette
