Memories and Condolences
for James Bruce

Not sure what to say?

February 15, 2013

To the family of Jim, especially Jamie, Todd and Jon.
I am sorry that I did not know of Jim's passing in time to pay respects and offer comfort at his service, for I surely would have been there. I am sorry that you have been through a double loss in such a short time for losing our parents leaves an empty ache, and you did not have much time to heal. When I talked to Jim at your Mom's service I felt a peace within Jim...as if he knew he had only a short time left and he was alright with that, and was ready.. like he was o.k. for he would soon be with her. It gives me comfort to remember that feeling I got from him, and I hope the sharing gives all of you some comfort too.
May the special memories replace the ache of loss as soon as possible, and may there be comfort from those that reach out to you with love.
I want you to know each of you have touched my life in meaningful ways, as did Jim and Biddy.
May the days become more gentle.
Love, Ellie Banker

I, could tell it was Jim just by the way he walked from at least a mile away. His family should be proud of him he was the greatest guy around. His wife Late Biddy you can not beat a pair like that. His coffee buddy's will miss him greatly. But Heaven has been blessed with his arrival. You will hear great singing from Jim/Biddy from heaven. That is a fine example of America Got Talent. I, miss both but heaven is a better place. Jim is safe in God's Hands. God will watch over his family. Sister-in Laws and his Brother-in Law will help his family through the this time of sorrow. All the children at No. Ston. Elem. school loved him so. They will never forget him. Coffee will never be the same without him. Rest in peace Jim until we meet again.
Love&Always a friend
