Jason Scribner Obituary
Born in Norwich on Feb. 23, 1980, he is the son of Dawn (Scribner) Coley of Roanoke Rapids, N.C., and the late Mark Tiffany.
He was last employed as a laborer for G&J Backhoe Service.
Surviving are his mother, Dawn (Scribner) Coley of North Carolina; his stepfather, Gary Coley of Norwich; his maternal grandmother, Rose (Mason) Scribner of Maine; a son, Seneca Scribner and two daughters, Cheyenne and Isabella Scribner, all of Norwich; his sister, Courtney Coley of Norwich; along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday with a memorial service at 2 p.m. at the Labenski Funeral Home, 107 Boswell Ave., Norwich. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations are asked to be made in his memory to the Connecticut Brain Injury Assoc., 1800 Silas Deane Hwy., Rocky Hill CT 06067.

it's very sad to hear of your passing. i remember you from Mahan School. You were a year or 2 ahead of my class. i remember for one of the concerts you use too jam on the drums, and were very gifted, and talented. You helped my friends and i when we were in the 2nd grade. i remember a few of us were being teased by bullies and trying to scare us when we went to school in the mornings, and you stuck up for us, and helped us get into school safely. it's been such a long time since those days, but that memory lives on in my heart. You will always be missed, and forever remembered.

I had the privilege of knowing Jason he graduated with my son James Serwinski and My son Mike Marino taught him how to play guitar. He was always a gentlemen and we had a lot of fun times together.
He will be missed greatly.

Jason, you are gone but not forgotten. You will always be in my heart. I will always remember you as that 4 year old little boy we met on a Easter Sunday buffet. I took care of you while your mom worked and you would sit outside on the patio and color and play all day. Next came Head Start school.
