Jesse Capello Obituary

Flagstaff, Ariz. - Jesse Joseph Capello Jr. passed away at The Peaks, A Senior Living Community in Flagstaff, Ariz., Aug. 6, 2021. Jesse was born Nov. 9, 1942, to Helena Lesseigne Capello and Jesse Joseph Capello Sr.

In Jesse's early years, he worked for a ship builder in Louisiana. He relocated to Groton in 1988, and was then employed by General Dynamics, Electric Boat. He was a Designer for the Seawolf and Virginia Class Fast Attack submarines. Throughout his career, he taught Computer Aided Design on several design and manufacturing software platforms. Jesse was a member of The Marine Draftsman Union - Local 571, He retired from General Dynamics in 2009 and moved to Flagstaff, Ariz.

Jesse was an avid airplane enthusiast who owned and operated his own airplane. He especially loved Classical Music and had great artistic ability, he particularly enjoyed painting plantation homes.

Jesse loved many things; drives to the desert and Grand Canyon in his Porsche, his collection of stained-glass lamps, holidays spent with his friends in Rhode Island and his beloved cats, especially Mr. Grey. Jesse was an intelligent, kind, humble man who will be thought of fondly and sincerely missed by many.

Interment took place in the Citizens' Cemetery, Flagstaff, Arizona. Memories and Condolences can be shared online at www.norvelowensmortuary.com.
