Kate was my best friend from college. In our junior year, we roomed together with a family in Nantes, France. We spent a couple of summers on Martha’s Vineyard together, working in restaurants. After that, grad school and careers pulled us in different directions, but we shared some wonderful adventures. I will miss her deeply.

For ten of Kate’s years at Valley, I was right across the hall from her. She was not only a wonderful teacher, but also a kind colleague and friend. My son even had the privilege of traveling to Paris with her when he was her student. I’m deeply saddened to hear of her passing.

So sorry to hear of Kate's passing. We worked so well together with finances in regard to her class trips to either Quebec or France. We also shared the same birthday. I'll miss her.

I am so sorry to hear of Kate’s passing. She was a wonderful colleague and friend at Valley Regional, and I was fortunate to accompany her on several trips to Paris and Quebec. She was highly regarded and well liked by the students. I am sure they will long remember her kindness. We always talked lovingly of our cats and their exploits! She will be sadly missed by those who knew her.
