Kenneth Christensen Obituary

Quaker Hill - Kenneth M. Christensen, age 85, of Quaker Hill, passed away peacefully at Backus Hospital Jan. 16, 2024. Kenneth "Chris" was born May 21,1938, in New London, Wis. to the late Maurice and Grace (Malliet) Christensen.
He was a high school graduate.
Kenneth proudly served in the Coast Guard until 1960, and received honors for saving the life of a fellow cadet. He met and married his loving wife Beverly DeMarco in New London, in 1959. Kenneth retired from Pfizer in 1996, after 28 years with the company. He was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers and Boston Red Sox and rarely missed a game.
He will be dearly missed by his surviving wife Beverly; daughter Linda Kane; son Kenneth J. Christensen; Sam Cerezo; and grandchildren, Catherine and Mason Kane; sisters, Teri Miller (and Tom) and Verona Hartwig (and Leonard); as well as family members: Darell "Butch" Malliet (and Susan), Joan Christensen, Earline Christensen, Lorraine Basilica and Joan Falconi; and many nieces and nephews who fondly referred to him as "Uncle Chris." Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Maurice and Grace; and brothers, Leroy and Keith Christensen; sister Bonnie Snitselaar; and son-in-law Thomas Kane.
Services will be private.

We only got to see uncle Ken about once a year as kids and much less often as adults, but he was such a big, welcoming, personality that he made you feel seen and loved no matter how long it had been.
