Kenneth Perkins Obituary
He served in the U.S. National Guard from 1964 to 1969. He was a graphic designer for the Cleveland Zoo and Pfizer Groton retiree.
He owned and operated Roll On America Roller Rink (Groton/Westerly) and was a roller skating coach and Gold Medal judge for over 60 years. He was also a National Champion in roller skating.
He will be deeply missed by Suzanne, his loving wife of 57 years; children, Jennifer (Ken) Paulk and Ken (Karen) Perkins; and grandchildren, Ken, Trinity and Jackson. Ken is also survived by two brothers, Don Perkins (Sue) of Nokomis, Fla., and Bob Perkins (Denise) of Parma, Ohio and their families.
Calling hours will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Jan. 4, at the Mystic Funeral Home on Route 1 in Mystic. A celebration of his life will follow the calling hours at noon at the funeral home. His burial will be held privately following the service.

Suzanne, I am so sorry to hear of your dear husband's passing. I remember him dropping you off at work in the mornings and you always spoke so fondly of him. It sounds like he lived a wonderful life and touched many people. Thinking of you and your family during the difficult time.
