Leland Balch Obituary

Stonington - Leland Francis Balch, 79, formerly of New London, passed away July 17, 2025, at Pendleton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. He was born Sept. 6, 1945, in Groton, the son of Lee H. and Frances G. (Burnett) Balch.

He was employed at The Day as a compositor.

Mr. Balch was predeceased by his wife, Ann Balch.

Funeral arrangements are pending and will be announced in a future edition of The Day. The Thomas L. Neilan & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Ocean Avenue, New London is assisting the family with the arrangements.
