Leo Chupaska Obituary

Uncasville – Leo M. Chupaska of Uncasville, passed away at his home Sept. 11, 2025, after a longtime battle with idiomatic pulmonary fibrosis. He was the loving husband of Christina (Poniatwoski) Chupaska for 56 years.

He last worked as the finance director and CFO at both the Mohegan Tribe and the Mohegan Sun Casino.

Calling hours will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Sept. 17, at the Woyasz & Son Funeral Home, 11 Jerome Road, Uncasville. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church, 22 Maple Avenue, Uncasville, with a reception following at 2 p.m. at the Montville Polish Club, 85 Maple Avenue, Uncasville.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Hospice of Southeaster Connecticut, or to a charity of their choice. Please visit Woyaszandson.com for more information.
