Leslie Carmelle Stack

1969 - 2024

Preston/Uncasville - Leslie Carmelle (Caron) Stack, 54, of Preston passed away unexpectedly Monday, Jan. 22, 2024. She was a beautiful, strong, loving woman with a huge heart. Her love was unconditional. She was living her dream with horse showing. She will be greatly missed. She worked at Electric Boat for 15 years in multiple trades.

She is survived by her loving husband Edward J. Stack of 18 years; her children, Sean P. Goins, Felicia M. Goins, William J. Goins; her stepchildren, Tina and Allison; her grandchildren, Amara, Taj'Rell, Jase, Caden, Carlee, Rajah, Camron, Coraline, Taraj'Nae, Lucas; her surviving siblings, Billy Caron, Bobby Caron, Darlene Diamond, Jeffery Weikel, Brian Weikel, Christy Callaghan, Lisa, Ruben, Darlene; 17 chickens, eight dogs, two horses. She is predeceased by her parents, Robert E. Caron and Gloria Caron; sister Deborah Weikel; brother Patrick Caron. She is now in heaven with her son Jesse A. Goins who she greatly missed and loved! Also, her Stepson Jonathan E. Stack.

She was devoted to her family, friends, and animals. There are no words. "The lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." - Psalms 34:18

Calling Hours will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 4, 2024, at Woyasz & Son Funeral Services, 11 Jerome Rd., Uncasville, followed by a Celebration of life at the VFW, 91 Raymond Hill Rd, Uncasville. Burial service will meet at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 5, 2024, at Woyasz & Son Funeral Service, 11 Jerome Rd., Uncasville, continued at Comstock Cemetery, 48 Dock Rd, Uncasville.
