Linda Hunter Obituary
She was born in Middletown April 25, 1952, the daughter of Florian and Dixieann Usher Czaja. She was the wife of Wayne Hunter, who survives her.
Mrs. Hunter had last been employed as a cashier for the Waterford Rite Aid store. She was a former Auxiliary State Trooper for ten years, and was a member of St. Bridget of Kildare Church in Moodus.
In addition to her husband, Wayne, she is survived by three sons, Frank Saunders of Old Saybrook; Wayne Hunter, Jr. of Waterford; Christopher Hunter of Montville; three daughters, Stacie Dunn of Ft. Myers, Fla.; Diana Heil of Old Lyme; and Frances Parker of Groton. She has 14 grandchildren.
There will be a graveside service at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 20, in St. Mary Cemetery. The Thomas L. Neilan & Sons Funeral Home of New London has been entrusted with arrangements.

I had the pleasure of serving with then Linda Saunders KX-10, with the Connecticut State Police Auxiliary Program. Linda was an exceptional auxiliary. She was devoted to serving the people of the state of Connecticut. Linda, and we bonded immediately. We had some fun patrolling, and many experiences while on duty. My condolences go to the Hunter and Saunders family. Linda will be missed by all who knew and worked with her. May she rest in peace and God Bless.
