Lorraine Basilica Obituary
Family and friends can attend at 10 a.m. Friday, July 12, a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, 10 Huntington St., New London. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery. There are no public visiting hours. The Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home, 84 Montauk Ave., New London, has been entrusted with her care. A complete obituary will appear in next week's edition of The Day.

Dear Neighbor,
Lorraine, we will miss you. When we moved into the corner of Fitch Ave and Vauxhall Street, you and Tony were some of the 1st neighbors to welcome us. Tony would walk down, sit on our porch with Pop and talk about life stuff. You and I connected by some committees. I loved that you were a part of children developments. Our homes were the corner connectors of Fitch Ave. Recently, I would pull over and speak to your granddaughter about your condition. Lorraine lived to 90, was a great run of life.
