Lou,
Just heard of the passing of your dad. You are in our thoughts during this difficult time. Although I didn't know your dad, if he was anything like you, he must have been all right. May his memory be eternal.

My deepest sympathies to the Mallet family. I've known Lou since our days at the old Waller School thru our graduation at NLHS. I lived on Shaw St. Lou lived on Howard St....his love for baseball is the thing I remembered most about him. He had a big heart to go along with his size....a true friend whose friendship was always genuine. I haven't seen you Lou in over 30 years but I do know if I had, it would have been like seeing you yesterday. Rest in peace Lou.

My sincerest condolences go to Lou's family. Lou and I played Little League together and were friend through High School. I recently reconnected with him through Facebook but regret all the years we'd missed as I left New London in 1974. He was a good friend and a good man.
