Martha Deveau Obituary
On Dec. 23, 1950, Martha married the love of her life, Ambrose J. Deveau. They remained happily married for 69 years until his death July 18, 2020.
Martha and Ambrose were the proud parents of Marles Deveau, Patricia Deveau and Ambrose Mark Deveau. Unfortunately, Marles died Feb. 5, 2020, and Ambrose Mark died Dec. 27, 2023.
Once she raised her children, Martha went to work in an administrative office at General Dynamics Electric Boat where she remained until she retired in 2001. She and Ambrose then began traveling in their motor home, settling in Zephyrhills, Fla., for the next 30 years. While in Florida, Martha became a member of Moose International Zephyrhills, FL Lodge 2776.
A graveside service for Martha will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 28, at the Elm Grove Cemetery in Mystic. The Mystic Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
