Maureen Ryan Obituary

VERNON - Maureen Christine Ryan, 52, died unexpectedly Friday, Sept. 9, 2011, at Saint Clare's Hospital in Sussex. Mrs. Ryan, the daughter of Ralph and Virginia (Ramirez) Murgolo, was born in Jersey City Oct. 8, 1958. She was formerly of Edison and had been a resident of Vernon for the past 11 years.

Mrs. Ryan was a homemaker and loved to spend time gardening, painting and sewing. She also enjoyed music and playing Dominos.

Mrs. Ryan was predeceased by her mother, Virginia Murgolo, and is survived by her loving husband and soulmate, Christopher Ryan; father, Ralph Murgolo of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; sister, Virginia "Vicki" Murgolo of North Brunswick; and her pet dog, "Sophie." "Maureen loved her family and friends. They all meant everything to her."

Friends may call at Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home, Vernon, Tuesday Sept. 13, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. with a funeral service commencing at 8 p.m. Cremation will be private. Memorial donations may be made in Mrs. Ryan's name to Vernon Animal Welfare League, P.O. Box 299 Vernon, NJ 07462. For condolences and directions, www.fergusonvernonfuneralhome.com.
