Muriel Sylvester Obituary
She was born Jan. 15, 1934, in Taunton, Mass., the daughter of the late Lawrence and Lillian (Walters) Hall. She was united in marriage to Antonio Sylvester on March 19, 1955 in New London. Mr. Sylvester died April 5, 2005. Muriel was very much loved by her children and grandchildren, and was an avid bingo player.
She is survived by five children, Antonio Sylvester Jr., Linda Sylvester and husband, Ed, Carol Sylvester and husband, Dan, all of Virginia, Dee Dee and husband, Peter Keramidas, of Uncasville, Diane and husband, Robert Hancock, of New London; two sisters, Janet Reguin of Virginia and Joan Slusher of Ohio. Ten grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by three brothers, Melvin Fisher, and David and Alden Hall.
Her family will receive relatives and friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home, 84 Montauk Ave., New London. A funeral home service will be held at 11 :30 a.m. Monday, followed by interment in St. Mary Cemetery.
