Patricia Turbes Obituary
Patricia was a loving and caring individual who cherished her family and privacy. She had a passion for music, especially enjoying live shows by Neil Diamond, and had a special place in her heart for her beloved fur babies.
Patricia leaves behind her son Victor Turbes and his wife Stephanie of Lebanon; along with their three children, Brady, Logan and Camden. She is also survived by her longtime partner John Schnatter of Moosup; his daughters, Christina and Karen; two sisters, Mary Lee Nave and Janet Setser; and a brother, Michael Hershberger. She was predeceased by her parents, Leroy and Mary Lou Hershberger; and her sister Kathy Fleming.
Having worked as a registered nurse for over 30 years, Patricia dedicated her final years before retirement to serving at Norwich Hospital and Connecticut Valley Hospital in the State of Connecticut.
A memorial service to honor and celebrate Patricia's life will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, at the Godere-Guillot Funeral Home in Taftville. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Patricia's name to the ASPCA, a cause close to her heart, as she had a deep love for animals, especially her pets. The family would also like to say a special thank you to the staff of the critical care unit at Backus for their kindness and compassion during her final days. The Godere-Guillot Funeral Home in Taftville, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
