Patrick Dunn Obituary

Norwich - Patrick C. Dunn, 32, of Norwich, died from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2017, in Hampton.

Patrick was born Dec. 2, 1985. He was the first grandchild on both sides of the family. Patrick loved sports and played baseball, football, and wrestling through his time at Ledyard High School. Pat also loved music and played guitar and keyboards. Patrick was hardworking, honest and had many friends. He loved his job at Asplundh Tree service, where he was a foreman. He was a devoted family man and father. Patrick will be deeply missed by all of those who knew him.

He is survived by his father Michael C. Dunn, mother Lisa V. Dunn, sister Kelly A. Dunn and her boyfriend Matthew Vessey, his fiancée and love of his life, Alicia Marsee, and their one-year-old daughter, Audrey Lee Dunn. He is also survived by his Pepe Ronald Lafleur, Meme Anne Lafleur, his grandmother Grace Werling, as well as his grampy Don Werling, many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Robert F. Dunn and Patricia F. Dunn. Patrick knew he could always rely on his Uncle Thomas J. Dunn, and loved playing music, going to concerts, and spending time with his Uncles James P. Dunn, Robert J. Dunn, Michael Lafleur, as well as his Aunt Katherine A. Dunn. He shall be missed.

His family will greet relatives and friends from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 3, at the Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl S., Mystic. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 4, at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1650 Route 12, Gales Ferry. Burial will be private for the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Audrey Dunn College Fund at any branch of the Charter Oak Credit Union.
