Patrick Stoddard Obituary

Groton - Patrick Frank Stoddard, 49, of Noank, born Sept. 14, 1964, affectionately known to all as "Mr. Pat", passed away unexpectedly, Monday, Feb. 17, 2014.

Mr. Pat was a kind and generous man that would do anything to help out a friend in need. He had a vast love and knowledge for anything military since he was a child. He owned several military vehicles during his life and participated in the Independence Day parades in Groton. He studied various types of martial arts his entire life. Pat was my best friend growing up. We shared all things military and played army and built models for hours and days.
I spent many hours with the stoddard family, such good people.
I´m sorry I lost touch with such a good person.
You are not forgotten old friend.

I had so many great memories of Pat. Playing Chess at his parents house, or at,least trying to play chess and having a few bevergaes while learning! Also growing up in Nautilus Park in Groton and watching you and Al Furlow getting dressed up in full camo to spend the weekend in the woods.... Always made me giggle, true survivalist I may add.. Your going to be missed a lot Pat!!! God Bless you and your Family.

I went to Noank Elementary School with Pat and have some very fond memories of us cutting up together. He used to wear a Gilley's shirt and we all thought that was cool. He'll certainly be missed.
