Peter Cascio Obituary
Peter was a U.S. Navy veteran serving in the sub-service. He retired in 1986, from Northeast Utilities after 38 years. His family will receive relatives and friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, May 1, at the Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home, 84 Montauk Ave., New London. Relatives and friends are invited to gather for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Monday, May 2, at St. Joseph Church, New London. Interment to follow in St. Mary Cemetery, with military honors. A complete obituary will appear in the Wednesday edition of The Day.

I remember Pete and Minna so we´ll. I used to babysit for their boys when the boys were little. Pete and my dad used to hang around and get into trouble together. He was always happy and had a million dollar smile.

I was so sad too hear of Pete's passing. I've only knew him for maybe about 1yr. But during that short time, I've grown very fond of him. He was such a great, gentle soul. And that smile...enough too warm your heart. Although I'm going too miss seeing him, but I'm glad he's now free and reunited with his loved ones in heaven.
My condolences too all who loved him.

Dear family of Pete,
I remember your mom and Dad so well back in the Pleasure Beach! Your Dad was always so upbeat and enjoyed his life to the fullest! He and my dad used to get themselves into some pickles! Several years ago we saw him at The Recovery Room enjoying himself and he told us he was meeting up with his family. He seemed so proud of his boys. I am sorry to hear of your loss. My dad worked with your dad for most of those same 38 years at the power company and enjoyed those days. Even after the retirements, he loved to visit during the summer picnics with the old gang. The laughs were full and often. Your dad will be missed.
He's with your mom again... remember the great times you shared.
