Dear Laurie.
We are sad to hear about Peter's death. Paul and I enjoyed talking with him at Marge's, and I many times with my parents, Puffin and Derry D'Oench.
We send our sympathy and love.

Dear Laurie, I am sad about Peter's passing. We have long lost contact but now many memories that I thought I had forgotten are coming up. You and Peter had been very kind to me that year I lived in Middletown, and I had always felt good in your home. I even had the privilege to visit you in Heidelberg and enjoy your hospitality. I am glad to have known Peter, and I am sending you my sincere condolences. Daniel from Switzerland

What a wonderful, humble, funny man Peter was. I babysat his kids for a while and became a friend of the family. When Peter would drive me home from babysitting we would actually have real conversations. His interest in what I had to say was real and I never felt awkward and bereft of ideas of things to talk about when I was in his presence. He had much pain in his life losing three of his children, but he continued to be the kind, funny, intelligent man that everyone knew him to be. The world has lost a good person. Hugs and love to Laurie and Kim.

Dear Laurie, I was so saddened to learn of Peter's death. I have very fond memories of him and many lively discussions about subjects - especially music - gathered around a fabulous feast in Middletown. He was an exceptional man. Lots of love and strength to you and your entire family. Ann (Sease) Monoyios
