Peter LaFlamme Obituary

Norwich - Peter "Pete" LaFlamme, 62, of Norwich, passed away peacefully March 6, 2024, at home with his wife of 23 years by his side. Born in New London, July 7, 1961, he was the son of the late Arthur and Betty LaFlamme.

He graduated from Montville High School, Class of 1979. He retired from Microbac in Dayville. Pete loved watching the NY Yankees, NY Giants and UConn men's basketball.

Pete leaves behind his loving wife, Maureen (Kearney) LaFlamme; sisters, Carrie LaFlamme of Groton, Linda LaFlamme of Florida and Michelle LaFlamme of Florida; brother-in-law Bob Tyrseck of Oakdale; several nieces and a nephew; extended family members; and his beloved cat Cash. A special thank you to his dear friend Guy "Rocky" Frodl. He was predeceased by his son Peter William LaFlamme; brothers, James and Theodore LaFlamme; sister Marge Tyrseck; and nephew Michael Angeloszek.

Special thanks to the wonderful staff at ECHO at the Backus Hospital for the love and care they gave Pete. Also, thank you to the VNA and Hospice for their kindness and care.

There will be no services.

I've known Pete all my life as his parents were good friends of my parents. He was such a great guy and so comical. He made so many people laugh. I'm so
